The contests on Monday night are totally influenced by a lot of fun. These kinds of contests will really allow everybody to participate. Maybe we will add one or more crazy contests.
The 2nd beat of the bar is called “Back Beat”. Normally we are all conditioned to synchronise our steps with the first or odd beat of the music. Give it a try to dance everything one beat offset, so the Back Beat will become your routing beat. You will see that this is not very easy, especially since most of us have been trained not to dance “off beat”. Even this term for dancing on the 2nd beat isn’t correct; everybody will hopefully know now what it’s all about. But look out, in this contest it’s not allowed to dance on the down beat (1st beat of the music), because this would count as a mistake. As you can see we will have a lot of fun that night.
Role Reversal Contest
Yes, here we will switch leading and following roles. Guys – you will dance the girl’s part and ladies – you will have to lead. If you also exchange your clothing with your dance partner, you will get extra points.
